Source: Daher Group in talks to buy Adidas' business in Russia

MOSCOW, Jun 9 (PRIME) -- Lebanon's Daher Group is in negotiations to buy stores of Germany's Adidas in Russia, the launch terms are unknown yet, a market source told PRIME on Friday.

"There are negotiations on the outlets. … It is not known yet, how many (will open) and when," the source said.

Adidas and Russia’s Industry and Trade Ministry have not commented on the information.

The German company suspended operations in Russia and closed the stores temporarily in March 2022. In October 2022, Adidas decided to divest from Russia.
